The Antigonish Garden Club
(Founded in 1983)

The Antigonish Garden Club  celebrated its twentieth year in 2003 and the thirtieth year in 2013.
It was organized by a group of interested gardeners in 1983 and has continued to have an active membership and interesting program topics.
Association with the Nova Scotia Association of Garden Clubs occurred until 1991, when it withdrew from that association, but continued to be very active locally. That association was resumed about 2006.

Members are associated with the Nova Scotia Association of Garden Clubs, but also have the option of a "casual" membership on a monthly basis.

We have a very dedicated core group which contributes to the planning and success of all Garden Club activities.
Regular meetings are held on the third Monday of each month; September through June. Regular meetings are held at the John Paul Center, Main St., Antigonish. Meetings start at 7PM.
Several meetings a year are "off-site", often at one of the members gardens.

We have a relatively new website which has some of the current information relating to the Antigonish Garden Club

2023 represents the 40th Anniversary
